Art Club Encourages Students to Paint “Shades of Love”

Mahidol University International College’s (MUIC) Art Club organized an activity called “Shades of Love” at the Ground Floor, Aditayathorn Building, on June 12 - 13, 2024 that allowed the 26 participating students to be inspired and express themselves through painting.

The participants were given canvases and acrylic colors, symbolizing gender diversity. The session also inspired the students to unlock their powers of creativity, using art instruments to express themselves resulting in unique artworks.

The club said the artistic atmosphere also encouraged relaxation and stress relief, resulting in deep satisfaction among the students. By the session's end, students had honed their artistic skills and embraced the beauty of diversity, underscoring the importance of individuality and collective humanity. This enriching experience provided a nurturing space for personal and artistic growth, reinforcing the value of creativity and self-expression in a supportive community.

Officers of the club expressed its thanks to all participants and reminded them that there would be more similar activities in the near future.

MUIC Executives Attend MU’s 57th Anniversary Ceremony

The Mahidol University International College (MUIC) executive team led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yingyot Chiaravutthi, Associate Dean; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chanchai Phonthanukitithaworn, Associate Dean for Corporate Communication and Information Technology; and AjarnWimonsiri Hemtanon, Associate Dean for Student Affairs; accompanied by Prof. Dr. Nopraenue Sajjarax Dhirathiti, Vice President for Global Partnerships and University Council of Mahidol University, and a faculty member of the Social Science Division of MUIC, along with staff members, laid a royal Pan-Pum (a traditional floral arrangement) in front of the statue of His Royal Highness Prince Mahidol of Songkla as part of paying obeisance to him and also in observance of the 57th Anniversary of the Royal Bestowal of the University Name and the commemoration of Mahidol University’s 138th Anniversary, on March 2, 2026 at the Office of the President.
