Mahidol University International College (MUIC) held “Eventelligence: On the Cusp of AI-Driven and Regenerative Experiences” onMarch 10, 2026 at Charinyarasami Hall.

Prof. Chulathida Chomchai, M.D., Dean of Mahidol University International College (MUIC), presided over the opening of the event. Organized by theTourism and Hospitality Management (THM) Division, “Eventelligence” waspart of theTalk Series celebrating the 40th Anniversary of MUIC.

The event aimed to enhance students’ understanding of how Artificial Intelligence (AI) can be applied to event planning and management to improve efficiency and innovation. It also introduced new perspectives on designing event experiences driven by technology while embracing a regenerative approach to sustainability, a key direction shaping the future of the events and hospitality industry.

The program featured distinguished speakers from the industry who shared their expertise and insights, including:

  • Dr. Supawan Teerarat, President of the Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (Public Organization)

  • Mr. Kridsada Satukijchai, Chief Executive Officer, Allable Co., Ltd.

  • Mr. Suphakorn Ruaywasana, Managing Director, Unixdev Co., Ltd.

The speakers shared valuable knowledge, professional experiences, and perspectives on the integration of AI in the event industry, as well as emerging trends and opportunities for creating innovative experiences in the digital era.

In addition to the panel discussion, the event also featured a hands-on workshop that allowed students to actively engage in learning activities, fostering creativity and practical skills in applying technology. The workshop provided valuable experience in preparing students for future careers in the rapidly evolving events and hospitality industry.

MUIC Executives Attend MU’s 57th Anniversary Ceremony

The Mahidol University International College (MUIC) executive team led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yingyot Chiaravutthi, Associate Dean; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chanchai Phonthanukitithaworn, Associate Dean for Corporate Communication and Information Technology; and AjarnWimonsiri Hemtanon, Associate Dean for Student Affairs; accompanied by Prof. Dr. Nopraenue Sajjarax Dhirathiti, Vice President for Global Partnerships and University Council of Mahidol University, and a faculty member of the Social Science Division of MUIC, along with staff members, laid a royal Pan-Pum (a traditional floral arrangement) in front of the statue of His Royal Highness Prince Mahidol of Songkla as part of paying obeisance to him and also in observance of the 57th Anniversary of the Royal Bestowal of the University Name and the commemoration of Mahidol University’s 138th Anniversary, on March 2, 2026 at the Office of the President.
