MUIC Students Win 2nd Runner-up in Business Simulation Contest

Three freshmen from Mahidol University International College (MUIC) were awarded the 2nd  Runner-up prize in the first Thailand National Macro Business Simulation (MBS) competition hosted by BBA, School of Business, Kasetsart University.

Held on March 4, 2023, 76 teams from over nine universities competed in MBS, which aims to “empower young talents to become more confident in making sound business decisions” and provide insights into the management of C-level executives.

The winners from MUIC, who were members of the No Mayonnaise Please team, were Ms. Nichapa Chayaopars (International Business), Ms. Salisa Aphinyawutthikul (Finance), and Ms. Jiyun Kim (Business Economics). The sponsor, Top Boss Taiwan, rewarded the 2nd Runner-up with a 10,000 Baht cash prize.

MUIC Executives Attend MU’s 57th Anniversary Ceremony

The Mahidol University International College (MUIC) executive team led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yingyot Chiaravutthi, Associate Dean; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chanchai Phonthanukitithaworn, Associate Dean for Corporate Communication and Information Technology; and AjarnWimonsiri Hemtanon, Associate Dean for Student Affairs; accompanied by Prof. Dr. Nopraenue Sajjarax Dhirathiti, Vice President for Global Partnerships and University Council of Mahidol University, and a faculty member of the Social Science Division of MUIC, along with staff members, laid a royal Pan-Pum (a traditional floral arrangement) in front of the statue of His Royal Highness Prince Mahidol of Songkla as part of paying obeisance to him and also in observance of the 57th Anniversary of the Royal Bestowal of the University Name and the commemoration of Mahidol University’s 138th Anniversary, on March 2, 2026 at the Office of the President.
