“Sawasdee International” is a meet-and-mingle event hosted by the International Student Counselors (ISCs) every term to introduce full-time international students to the Mahidol University International College (MUIC) community. This term, it was held on January 13, 2023 at the Exhibition Hall of MUIC’s Aditayathorn Building with 80 student participants.
This term’s “Sawasdee International” included fun cultural trivia games and a scavenger hunt around the university to showcase MUIC’s amazing campus to the new students and to familiarize them with the campus.
The ISCs is an organization within MUIC composed of full-time international students who have a vision to promote internationalism and cultural exchange in MUIC. They tackle specific issues that international students have by providing emotional peer counseling, advice on living in Thailand, and how to navigate through university processes. The ISCs truly aim to greatly improve the lives of the international students studying at MUIC thus making the college the perfect place for international students in Thailand.
