The Music Club of Mahidol University International College (MUIC) offered a mini-tour of the College of Music, Mahidol University (MSMU) and let the 40 participating students experience a full jazz performance by MSMU students as a way to kickstart this semester’s jazz theme.
Held on October 5 and 11, 2023, the events introduced participants to the world of jazz. Being musicians themselves, the club members were inspired by the fantastic and soulful shows.
After the event, the students said they really enjoyed the show and a few of them were even inspired by the performers. Some of them kept discussing their favorite parts of the show whether it was the guitar solo or drum solo or the perfect unison made by the band.
The club said it hopes that this event made the participants appreciate jazz music and even be interested in learning more about it.
