The Sophomore Class Committee (CMM) of Mahidol University International College (MUIC) organized a Rubnong Activity on May 17, 2025 at the MU Multipurpose Stadium.

Rubnong is a cherished and highly anticipated event designed to warmly welcome new students into the university community. It provides a special opportunity for freshmen to connect with their peers and seniors, building meaningful relationships that will support them throughout their academic journey.

This event allows the younger students to gain valuable insights into campus life, explore the university's rich traditions, and learn about the core values that bring the community together. More than just an orientation program, Rubnong Day is a celebration of unity, excitement, and the shared experience of education.

The day is packed with a variety of activities, including interactive games, team-building exercises, and motivational talks by alumni and university leaders. These activities are thoughtfully planned to engage participants, entertain them, and instill a sense of pride in being part of the university family.

Rubnong Day also highlights the importance of collaboration and support among students. It emphasizes the role of seniors as mentors and guides, whose experiences and advice can help younger students to overcome challenges and make the most of their time at university. These connections encourage them to dream big, explore new opportunities, and take confident steps toward achieving their goals.

In addition to its fun and engaging aspects, the event serves as an introduction to the university's traditions and values. The new freshmen learn about their role in maintaining and contributing to the vibrant culture of the institution. Whether it is through shared meals, bonding activities, or cultural performances, Rubnong Day creates an immersive experience that inspires and motivates participants.

By the end of the event, the younger students leave with fond memories, a deeper sense of belonging, and a stronger connection to their new academic home. Rubnong Day is more than just a welcome event—it is the foundation for a meaningful and successful university journey. There were 422 students who participated in the event.
