Outbound Student Qualification

申请海外留学,学生必须满足以下要求:

  • 在校状态:学生必须在读且未处于留校察看状态。
  • 学业成绩:学生必须满足以下条件之一:
    - 申请人必须完成至少12学分的专业课程,在MUIC注册,并在申请时保持最低累计GPA 2.50,或
    - 对于尚未完成12学分专业课程的申请人,必须在MUIC注册的通识教育课程中获得"O"(优秀)或"S"(满意)的成绩
  • 在合作大学作为MUIC的良好代表,保持良好的学业成绩和良好的行为记录。

出国留学前,学生必须满足以下要求:

  • 在MUIC完成至少三个学期的学习
  • 年满18周岁
  • 参加学生交换办公室的Buddy计划或参加MUIC的国际宾客接待活动
  • 满足合作大学设定的任何其他要求

* 与新入境学生网络平台相关的替代活动(活动组织者、艺术设计等)将适用于某些特定情况的MUIC申请人。

* 对于国际宾客接待活动,您将在接待宾客之前由国际关系部门进行面试和适当培训。如果您对这些活动感兴趣,请联系A244 B室的学生交换部门。

About Buddy Plus

Buddy Plus — also known as IA Student Co-Organizer — is a special role for current and former MUIC Buddy Program members who want to take the next step beyond being a buddy.

As a Buddy Plus member, you will work closely with the International Affairs (IA) Office as part of the student co-organizing team, supporting real IA events, especially inbound student welcome activities and visits from partner universities with a professional and warm approach under IA staff supervision and guidance.

This role is ideal for students who enjoy connecting with international students, learning about different cultures, and gaining hands-on experience in event organization, teamwork, and cross-cultural communication.

Qualifications & Eligibility
  • Must be a current or former member of the MUIC Buddy Program.
  • Commit to participate in approximately 70% of assigned key IA events is required by considering your academic schedule carefully before applying.
  • Understand and follow MUIC communication guidelines when acting as a student co-organizer, and share only trusted and validated information.
  • Service-minded, enthusiastic, and responsible.
  • Good command of English.
  • Able to work as a team and manage time effectively.
  • Selection Process: A short conversation will be arranged to get to know you better.

Your Duties: A glimpse of Schedule

Buddy Plus members contribute across three stages:

Before: preparation meetings and tasks
During: on-duty event support
After: reflection and improvement discussion

You will be part of the core team running these key activities each trimester for 1 year starting from the end of Trimester 3 of current year until the end of Trimester 3 of the following year:

How to Apply

Applications open in May for current and former Buddy Program members.
