Head of Program, Modern Business Entrepreneurship (International Program), Panyapiwat Institute of Management and Owner of Dusit Princess Phatthalung
When I graduated in 2016 with a Bachelor of Business Administration major in International Business degree, I had no idea what my future held. My father always told me, "Learn to be no one before you become someone." I followed his wisdom and began my adventure in the hotel industry, hoping to one day own my own.
I knew that Covid-19 would transform the tourism industry, and I foresaw the rise of second-tier cities. Travelers would no longer be confined to major metropolitan areas. I believed that those who gained early access to these emerging destinations would seize significant opportunities. During the pandemic, I dedicated myself to studying and reached out to Dusit International. From that single, exploratory email, I traveled throughout Thailand, secured a loan, and ultimately realized my dream. With the unwavering support of my family, Dusit Princess Phatthalung was born.
It was challenging, and I wondered why I hadn't been taught this essential business knowledge. I realized how valuable it would be to share this insight with others. Starting as a guest lecturer, I discovered that teaching is more than just delivering lectures; it's about cultivating critical thinking, a growth mindset, and a positive attitude that empowers young students to develop their full potential. From that moment, my life changed. Today, as Head of Program, my roles as a hotel owner and lecturer are seamlessly integrated. I find immense joy and fulfillment in blending theoretical and practical knowledge for my students.

Keep moving forward is more important than moving fast. Accomplishment is like a marathon, where you need strength, discipline and consistency.
How would you describe MUIC? Did your experience in MUIC prepare you for a career?
Always full of opportunities: ones that expanded my comfort zone, ones that enhanced my capabilities, and ones that taught me that everything is possible as long as I believe in it.
Country Director at Enaptar and Founder of ReCharge Energy
I graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree major in Environmental Science from MUIC in 2014. I then pursued a Master's degree in Sustainable Energy Engineering in Stockholm, Sweden, and Eindhoven, The Netherlands.
In 2019, I founded ReCharge Energy, a social enterprise project. ReCharge Energy is a hands-on company that addresses rural electrification challenges by combining cutting-edge off-grid solutions with a unique approach to social implementation. The Koh Jik microgrid, Koh Bulon Don, Koh Bulon Le and the Koh Mak Not solar home systems serve as unique proof-of-concept models for next-generation social business models. The ReCharge approach involves creating development centers by crafting tailor-made energy solutions that meet the specific needs of communities while empowering them as project owners.
Beyond social impact projects, I serve as the Country Director at Enaptar, focusing on next-generation hydrogen technology. Enaptar is a technological leader in innovative Anion Exchange Membrane (AEM) electrolyzers, crucial for sustainable green hydrogen production. My role at Enaptar involves overseeing activities in Southeast Asia, including key showcase hydrogen projects such as the Phi Suea House project in Chiang Mai, the world's first hydrogen-powered residential building.

Country Director of Dignity in Work for All
I graduated from MUIC in 2013 with a BA in Social Science degree (1st Class Honors) and now hold a Master of Public Policy degree from the Blavatnik School of Government at the University of Oxford.
I am currently Thailand's Country Director of Dignity in Work for All, a non-profit organization whose mission is to promote dignified work in extended global supply chains. Over the 10 years I have worked in the field of business and human rights, I have conducted research and special investigations focusing on illuminating trafficking-related risks in cross-border labor recruitment, the precarity of work and human rights challenges faced by workers in various industries and commodities, and collaborated with businesses and governments on how to make work more legal, ethical, and fair.
I am motivated by the belief that the people who produce the goods and services we enjoy in modern life deserve dignified work. The modern capitalist economy can be extractive. Our collective effort should be to establish better rules of business practice and improve access to rights, ensuring workers are not marginalized.
It has been personally meaningful to participate in numerous multi-stakeholder initiatives aimed at establishing better industry standards on social responsibility, assisting companies in diagnosing areas for improvement in their performance, and promoting business accountability through remediation programs such as worker repayments to address debt bondage.
As Country Director, I aim to cultivate a talent pool of business and human rights professionals who can contribute to and continue this crucial work.
Prior to this role, I worked on innovative financing for women's education through Wedu Foundation, spearheaded a national youth campaign on the Sustainable Development Goals with the UN Resident Coordinator in Thailand, and contributed to humanitarian assistance in Myanmar with Metta Foundation.

Project Assistant in Public Policy and Government Affairs at Vero Advocacy
Ms. Thanyavee graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree major in Intercultural Studies and Languages in 2022 (2nd Class Honors). With a foundation in Ethics, Philosophy, and Economics from Mahidol University International College, her interdisciplinary approach bridges theoretical frameworks with practical solutions for pressing global and local socioeconomic challenges.
A research paper she co-authored with her thesis supervisor, Asst. Prof. Dr. Matthew Ferguson, and which was published in Popular Music and Society, demonstrates how rural Thai communities transform global cultural influences into economically viable local content. This reveals the intricate relationship between cultural capital and development in emerging economies.
This analytical perspective has enabled her to create tangible community impact. During her tenure at Scholars of Sustenance Foundation, she secured a record-breaking grant of over 9 million Baht to provide nutritional support to 2,400 marginalized preschoolers. This addressed critical food security challenges within Thailand's education sector while establishing new operational benchmarks for the organization's sustainability initiatives.
Currently at Vero Advocacy, she examines the gap between policy promises and their business impact, specializing in stakeholder mapping and regulatory analysis across various sectors, including renewable energy and sustainable agriculture. Her professional journey reflects a steadfast commitment to integrating socio-ecological principles with economic growth strategies.
This interdisciplinary background has equipped her with the frameworks necessary to create meaningful policy solutions that balance economic competitiveness with environmental imperatives. By translating complex data analytics into accessible policy recommendations, she continues to work toward Thailand's sustainable future, applying both analytical rigor and human experience.
