The Debate Club of Mahidol University International College (MUIC) participated in "The Triad Collab," a collaborative debating event between MUIC, Chulalongkorn University, and Thammasat University on June 25, 2023.

That club noted that it was an intellectually enriching experience that transcended institutional boundaries. This unique endeavor not only highlighted the diverse perspectives each university brought to the table but also emphasized the power of collaborative thinking.

Engaging with students from different academic backgrounds, cultures, and perspectives broadened the horizons of the participants and deepened their appreciation for the multifaceted nature of global issues. The diversity within the teams fostered thought-provoking discussions and encouraged the participants to approach complex topics with open minds.

Navigating the dynamics of team collaboration was both challenging and rewarding. Balancing varying opinions, strategies, and presentation styles necessitated effective communication and adaptability. Through this process, students gained valuable insights into negotiation, compromise, and the art of finding common ground.

Moreover, the collaborative nature of the event extended beyond the debates themselves. Informal interactions, networking opportunities, and shared experiences allowed us to forge connections that transcended the event's duration.

Participating in "The Triad Collab" reaffirmed the notion that solutions to global challenges are best achieved through collective efforts. It underscored the importance of cross-institutional collaboration and demonstrated how our differences can be catalysts for innovative thinking. As the participants reflected on this experience, they said they were inspired to continue seeking out opportunities that foster collaborative learning and promote unity among diverse academic communities.
