Mahidol University International College (MUIC) officials welcomed a delegation from the Information Technology (IT) Division and the Personal Data Protection Center of Mahidol University on August 21, 2025 at Charinyarasami Hall, 3rd Floor, Aditayathorn Building.

Prof. Chulathida Chomchai, M.D., MUIC Dean, met with Assoc. Prof. Cherdchai Nopmaneejumruslers, M.D., Vice President for Information Technology and Digital Transformation, Mahidol University, along with the working groups from the IT Division and the Personal Data Protection Center, Mahidol University.

Also present were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chanchai Phonthanukitithaworn, MUIC’s Associate Dean for Corporate Communication and Information Technology; Asst. Prof. Dr. Kanat Tangwongsan, Assistant Dean for Corporate Communication and Information Technology, together with MUIC’s IT staff and relevant personnel.

The visit is aimed at reviewing and assessing the current status of MUIC’s information systems and infrastructure, while exploring the readiness and integration of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies in the areas of education, research, and academic services.

In addition, the visit placed strong emphasis on evaluating MUIC’s cybersecurity measures and compliance with the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA). The assessment session was held both onsite at MUIC’s meeting room and online via Webex Meetings, ensuring comprehensive participation and engagement.

MUIC Executives Attend MU’s 57th Anniversary Ceremony

The Mahidol University International College (MUIC) executive team led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yingyot Chiaravutthi, Associate Dean; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chanchai Phonthanukitithaworn, Associate Dean for Corporate Communication and Information Technology; and AjarnWimonsiri Hemtanon, Associate Dean for Student Affairs; accompanied by Prof. Dr. Nopraenue Sajjarax Dhirathiti, Vice President for Global Partnerships and University Council of Mahidol University, and a faculty member of the Social Science Division of MUIC, along with staff members, laid a royal Pan-Pum (a traditional floral arrangement) in front of the statue of His Royal Highness Prince Mahidol of Songkla as part of paying obeisance to him and also in observance of the 57th Anniversary of the Royal Bestowal of the University Name and the commemoration of Mahidol University’s 138th Anniversary, on March 2, 2026 at the Office of the President.
