Mahidol University International College’s (MUIC) Media and Communication program stays aligned with industry trends while empowering students to develop their creative identities. With the rise of AI, digital media, and content-driven communication, the flexible and practical curriculum offers major electives such as acting, directing, cinematography, digital journalism, and IMC, encouraging experimentation and innovation.

New minor offerings—Performing Arts, Communication for Success, and Media & Communication—will launch in September 2025, reflecting industry relevance. As the only AUN-QA 4.0-certified international media program in Thailand, it provides a globally recognized education combining creativity, professionalism, and critical thinking.

Media and Communication students benefit from state-of-the-art facilities—including a shooting studio, screening room, theatre, audio suite, and mastering suite—ensuring hands-on experience. The senior thesis exhibition, attracting over 3,000 viewers annually, offers real-world exposure and professional feedback.

More than a degree, the program shapes storytellers who are curious, adaptable, and prepared for the evolving media landscape. With global recognition, a supportive environment, and a strong focus on innovation, MUIC’s Media and Communication major equips graduates to thrive across diverse media platforms and become leaders in the creative industries.

“Beyond technical skills, we aim to cultivate critical thinkers and powerful storytellers; graduates who are creative, curious, adaptable, and ready to thrive in an ever-evolving media landscape.”

- Dr. Nunnapan Puathanawat
