A delegation from Mahidol University International College (MUIC) traveled to the National University of Singapore (NUS) on January 19, 2026, to exchange best practices on student affairs and leadership development.

The 14-member delegation, comprising executives, staff, and Student Association leaders, was hosted at the Yusof Ishak House. There, Assoc. Prof. Ho Han Kiat, NUS Dean of Students, and Ms. Janice Low, Senior Communications Manager, presented an in-depth overview of the university’s robust student support framework.

The discussion highlighted key leadership initiatives and student engagement strategies that define the NUS campus experience, featuring insights from both the Student Leadership and Development team and the NUS Students’ Union.

To reciprocate, Ms. Wimonsiri Hemtanon, MUIC’s Associate Dean for Student Affairs, and Mr. Rafael Gloede, Student Association President, detailed MUIC’s own approach to student activities and governance. The presentations sparked a dynamic discussion on fostering vibrant and supportive campus environments.

This visit marked a meaningful step towards stronger institutional ties and the continued sharing of best practices in student development.

The visit, which concluded with a campus tour of the Stephen Riady Centre and group photos at the YIH Level 3 Historical Steps and UTown Plaza, marks a significant move toward strengthening institutional collaboration and sharing innovative approaches in student development.
