MUIC Holds Seminar on Sexual Harassment

Mahidol University International College (MUIC) held a Zoom online seminar on sexual harassment entitled “It’s Okay Not To Be Okay” on January 29, 2021.

Organized by MUIC’s Student Association, the online event featured the following speakers: Ms. Chawisa Chartsuwan, Mental Health Counselor; Pol. Lt. Col. Nopparat Boontanom, Ph.D., Deputy Superintendent of Information Center Sub-Division, Patrol and Special Operation Division (191), Metropolitan Police Bureau; and Asst. Prof. Dr. Chayanant Hongfa, Associate Dean for Student Affairs of MUIC.

Aimed at raising student awareness of sexual harassment, the online event had 205 participants.

MUIC Executives Attend MU’s 57th Anniversary Ceremony

The Mahidol University International College (MUIC) executive team led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yingyot Chiaravutthi, Associate Dean; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chanchai Phonthanukitithaworn, Associate Dean for Corporate Communication and Information Technology; and AjarnWimonsiri Hemtanon, Associate Dean for Student Affairs; accompanied by Prof. Dr. Nopraenue Sajjarax Dhirathiti, Vice President for Global Partnerships and University Council of Mahidol University, and a faculty member of the Social Science Division of MUIC, along with staff members, laid a royal Pan-Pum (a traditional floral arrangement) in front of the statue of His Royal Highness Prince Mahidol of Songkla as part of paying obeisance to him and also in observance of the 57th Anniversary of the Royal Bestowal of the University Name and the commemoration of Mahidol University’s 138th Anniversary, on March 2, 2026 at the Office of the President.
