Mahidol University International College (MUIC) and Mahidol University International Demonstration School (MUIDS) signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) that would pave the way for closer academic collaboration between the two institutions through the M2M Pathway Program.
This program would give MUIDS students greater opportunities to pursue higher education at MUIC through the dissemination of information on MUIC’s international programs, facilitation of direct admission for MUIDS students, and other mutually agreed academic activities in the future.
Prof. Chulathida Chomchai, M.D., MUIC Dean, signed on behalf of the college while Assoc. Prof. Dr. Singhanat Nomnian, MUIDS Director, represented MUIDS during the signing ceremony held on September 24, 2025 at Charinyarasami Hall, Aditayathorn Building, MUIC.
Several executives from both institutions witnessed the MOU signing, its effectivity starting in Academic Year 2026-2027, with the possibility of extension or amendment as deemed appropriate. Both MUIC and MUIDS reaffirmed their commitment to working together in good faith to benefit students and contribute to sustainable educational development.
On the same occasion, an academic workshop entitled, “Business Modeling – The Case of a Spinoff Company,” was organized. With Asst. Prof. Dr. Thanarerk Thanakijsombat, Chair of MUIC’s Business Administration (BA) Division, as guest speaker and facilitator, the workshop aimed to enhance the audience’s knowledge of business model development while also serving as a platform for MUIDS and MUIC students to exchange perspectives, thereby strengthening academic ties and fostering closer collaboration between the two institutions.
