MUIC’s BA Division Hosts 2 Career Development Events

Mahidol University International College’s (MUIC) Business Administration (BA) Division held two exciting career development events on October 11, 2024, namely, "P&G X BA@MUIC" and "SCB EIC Xperience," providing students with invaluable opportunities to learn from industry leaders and explore career paths.

The P&G X BA@MUIC session, held at the Spectrum Screening Space, featured senior directors and managers from Procter & Gamble (P&G) who shared their expertise on career planning, job preparation, and personal branding. P&G provided students with insights into real business practices, covering the journey from the first day on the job through various functions across the entire business supply chain. Additionally, they offered valuable guidance on how students can prepare for their careers.

Highlights of the P&G event included:

  • Career tips from P&G’s top executives.
  • Networking with professionals from one of the world’s largest multinational companies.
  • Insights into business operations, workplace diversity, and the corporate world’s expectations.
  • Guidance on internship opportunities and strategies for success across different business functions.

Students gained a comprehensive understanding of how business operations work in the real world, as well as the importance of workplace diversity and practical skills required for career growth.

Simultaneously, the SCB EIC Xperience event, held at Charinyarasami Hall in Aditayathorn Building, introduced students to the world of economics through the lens of the SCB Economic Intelligence Center (EIC). Attendees explored current trends in economics, heard success stories from MUIC alumni, and learned about potential internship opportunities.

Highlights of the SCB EIC Xperience included:

  • Expert insights into the economic landscape from SCB EIC professionals.
  • Discussions on real-world applications of economic principles.
  • Networking and internship opportunities in the field of economics.

These events reflected MUIC’s ongoing commitment to providing students with hands-on experiences and access to leaders in their respective industries. By offering these platforms, the college continues to equip students with the tools and connections they need for a successful future.

MUIC Executives Attend MU’s 57th Anniversary Ceremony

The Mahidol University International College (MUIC) executive team led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yingyot Chiaravutthi, Associate Dean; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chanchai Phonthanukitithaworn, Associate Dean for Corporate Communication and Information Technology; and AjarnWimonsiri Hemtanon, Associate Dean for Student Affairs; accompanied by Prof. Dr. Nopraenue Sajjarax Dhirathiti, Vice President for Global Partnerships and University Council of Mahidol University, and a faculty member of the Social Science Division of MUIC, along with staff members, laid a royal Pan-Pum (a traditional floral arrangement) in front of the statue of His Royal Highness Prince Mahidol of Songkla as part of paying obeisance to him and also in observance of the 57th Anniversary of the Royal Bestowal of the University Name and the commemoration of Mahidol University’s 138th Anniversary, on March 2, 2026 at the Office of the President.
