The Theatre Club of Mahidol University International College (MUIC) conducted an intensive preparation period for its highly anticipated production of “Alice in Wonderland” from January 13 to March 28, 2025.
Held in Rooms 2302 and 3407 of MUIC Building 1, this phase encompassed all key aspects of the production, including set design and construction, costume development, and technical planning.
The primary objectives of these preparation activities were to promote interdisciplinary collaboration among cast members, directors, and production staff, and to equip the team with effective problem-solving strategies. Regular planning sessions encouraged innovation and creativity, aiming to enhance the overall artistic quality of the show while fostering a productive rehearsal environment.
Despite facing challenges such as scheduling conflicts, limited access to rehearsal spaces and resources, and delays in securing production licenses, the team demonstrated resilience by reorganizing schedules and reallocating resources to stay on track.
As a result, participants gained valuable experience in communication, teamwork, and time management. The collaborative process also led to the integration of fresh creative ideas that elevated the production’s quality. Ultimately, the experience not only benefited the show but also prepared participants for future endeavors in theatre and beyond.
