Thai students and Foreign Residents

Thai students, at home and abroad, and foreign nationals residing in Thailand

Mahidol University International College's academic calendar is based on a system of three trimesters – Trimester 1 (September-December), Trimester 2 (January-April) and Trimester 3 (April-July) – each running for 12 weeks. There is a brief summer session in August.

Regular Applicants: Written and interview examination (Applicants who do not have both required English (IELTS, TOEFL, PTE, or Duolingo) and mathematics (SAT or ACT) scores, or who have only one of these scores, are required to take the MUIC entrance examination.)

High School Qualification

  • Thai High School (Mattayom 6 / Vocational / Non-Formal Education)
  • International School in Thailand (US Grade 12 / AS/A-Level / IB Diploma/IB Course Result / BTEC / French Baccalaureate)
  • General Educational Development (GED) (GED must pass total score of at least 600 with at least 145 score for each subject and the most recent educational record with supporting documents)
  • Overseas

Admission Required Documents

1. A photocopy of official high school transcript

2. A photocopy of High School Certificate or Diploma (if graduated)

3. A verification letter of current student status (if studying)

4. A photograph (450 x 350 pixels) in school uniform or in formal dress (shirt)

5. English Proficiency Score Submission

(If any) Original official and electronic score of TOEFL(iBT) or IELTS (Academic) or PTE (Academic) or Duolingo with at least 2 years' validity Applicant is recommended to order English Proficiency electronic score before the application period.
